AGENDA

The City of Nevada reserves the right to realign the order of the Agenda at any time prior to adjournment.

If, during the course of the meeting covered by this notice, the City Council should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session of the City Council or a consultation with the attorney for the City should be held or is required, then such closed or executive meeting or session or consultation with attorney as authorized by the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code §551.001 et seq. (the ‘Act’), will be held by the City Council at the date, hour and place given in this notice or as soon after the commencement of the meeting covered by this notice as the City Council may conveniently meet in such closed or executive meeting or session or consult with the attorney for the City concerning any and all subjects and all purposes permitted by the Act, including, but not limited to the following sanctions and purposes:

§551.074 – Discussing personnel or to hear complaints against personnel

    2. Citizens to Speak Before the Council

      3. This time is reserved for citizens to discuss items not listed on the Agenda. Citizens who have requested time to speak before the Council or who have signed the Sign-In sheet prior to the Council Meeting, may have three (3) minutes to address the Council. However, by law no action or discussion may be undertaken on these items.

        1. Discussion and comments from the public on changing the zoning and classification of the following properties from Agriculture to Single Family Residential and Agriculture to commercial 1:

        39.187 acres situated in the James Osgood Survey, Abstract No. 673, beginning at the North east corner of FM 6 and County Road 593, thence running West to the said Ray D Pharr tract, thence running North to the Johnnie D Belcher tract. Lot 1, Block D. 1.00AC on the South East corner of this tract will be considered for commercial 1.

        74.133 acres situated in the Willis Rogers Survey, Abstract No. 748, and the Sylvester Williams Survey, Abstract No. 955, beginning at FM HWY 6 and thence running North along the East and West lines of all the said Robert P. Yeager tracts.

      2. Discuss/ Take Action on Developers Agreement from Coleman Homes

      3. Discuss/ Take Action on Developers Agreement from Carroll Consulting

      4. Discuss/Take Action to amend Zoning Ordinance 00-02, Ordinance 06-16

      5. Discuss/Take Action to amend Zoning Ordinance 00-02, Ordinance 06-17

      6. Discuss/Take Action to approve building and septic plans for 113 Warren St, Jesse Hensley. Set public hearing date for variance.

      7. Discuss/Take Action on Animal Control for FY 2006-2007

      8. Discuss/Take Action on Ordinance 06-15 additional City Attorney.

      9. Discuss/Take Action on 202 S FM 1138

      10. Discuss/Take Action on request from Farmers Branch

      11. Discuss/Take Action on amending Building Permit and Registration Fees.
