Mr. Rogers on West Street would like to address a citation and summons he received to appear in court on Nov. 3rd. Mr. Stevenson, we cannot comment. Once you receive a citation and have to appear in court it is out of our hands.

1. Discuss/Take Action – David with Pyrotechnic Productions requesting a Firework Permit – Mr. Stevenson motion to approve, Mrs. Stevenson second the motion, all in favor, aye, Mr. Drummonds nay, Mr. Barth abstained, motion carried 3 to 2.
2. Discuss/Take Action – Atmos proposed rate increase. Mr. Drummonds motion to deny, Mr. Barth second the motion, all in favor, aye, Mr. Stevenson nay, motion carried 4 to 1.
3. Discuss/Take Action – Eve Street, review bid. No action. Mayor suggest routine maintenance until Collin County can pick us up again maybe next year 2008.
4. Discuss/Take Action – NVFD, billing issues with insurance companies Mike Shea to speak. Mr. Shea, this would allow the NVFD to bill insurance companies to recoup equipment cost. Mr. Barth my concern is if the insurance did not pay this would give you an avenue to go after the victim. Mr. Drummonds could we draft an ordinance that allows no other recourse other than to collect from the insurance company. Mr. Shea let me do some more research on this and I will get back with the council.
5. Discuss/Take Action – Internet/Web Page for city hall. No action necessary money is budgeted. Council concurs to go with the $10 a month to host the website and investigate other Internet options.
