MINUTES

 

    1. Call to Order, Mayor Christy Schell called the meeting to order. Council members present, Tricia Stevenson, Johnny Stevenson, Wayne Drummonds and Philip Barth.

    2. Citizens to Speak Before the Council

      3. Mr. Shea, I requested 4 months ago that my street light be taken over by the city, that still has not been done I am still receiving a bill.

    3. New Business

      1. Discuss/Take Action – TXDOT speed study on FM 6 new proposed speed limits – Mr. Drummonds motion to approve, Mr. Barth second the motion, all in favor, aye, motion carried.

      2. Discuss/Take Action – Institution Permit Fees (CISD) - Mr. Drummonds motion to approve at cost fees for the CISD project, Mrs. Stevenson second the motion, all in favor, aye, motion carried.

      1. Community ISD Council Representative, Wayne Drummonds

      2. City Code Inspector, Wes Caperton (if requested to appear).

      1. Minutes 12/04/2007 Mr. Stevenson motion to approve, Mr. Drummonds second the motion, all in favor, aye, motion carried.

      2. Treasurer’s Report December 2007 Mr. Stevenson motion to approve, Mr. Drummonds second the motion, all in favor, aye, motion carried.

    7. Executive Session – Recess Council Meeting 7:15pm

    1. Boundary Agreement

 

    1. Reconvene Council Meeting 8:00pm

      2. a. No official action, other than council agrees to go back to Lavon with a possible solution.

    2. Adjournment - Mr. Stevenson motion to approve, Mr. Drummonds second the motion, all in favor, aye, motion carried.
