CAT IN NEVADA CITY HALL BIG NEWS!
If you have been to Nevada City Hall lately or watched Channel 5 news you‘ve probably noticed we have a visitor "Miss Kitty".
Miss Kitty is an adorable solid white female cat. She was rescued when the City was in between animal control contracts while waiting for the new Collin County Animal Shelter to be completed. Mayor Schell acting as
animal control at the time picked up Miss Kitty on a complaint, not really knowing what she would do with her once she was caught. Miss Kitty was so friendly and by far not a wild cat, the Mayor decided to take her to the Fate Animal Hospital to have her checked out. The veterinarian checked her out free of charge. He said she was about 6 yrs old, spade and other than a few rocks stuck in her feet and hungry she was fine.
Hence the dilemma "What to do with Miss Kitty?" The Mayor decided to keep her at City Hall until she was claimed or we found her a good home, thinking it would only be a matter of days before someone would fall in love with her and take her home. As it turns out everyone does love Miss Kitty, but no one wants to take her home. So, if you or someone you know wants a now spoiled indoor lovable sweet kitty cat please call City Hall at 972 853-0027.
